Disabled Care and Rehabilitation
A Disabled Care Technician is defined as a professional who, with the education they receive in disabled care, applies the knowledge and techniques of disabled care to help individuals with disabilities and those in need of care to engage with life, free themselves from concerns about the future, spend their free time productively, and develop habits of being sensitive and protective towards their bodies and living spaces. The purpose of the program is to train professionals who provide care services, which are defined as professional support services offered at home or in institutions to individuals in need of care. Disabled Care Technicians are trained to offer these professional support services in homes or institutions. The goal of the program is to cultivate professionals who have absorbed the concepts and principles related to their field, fulfill the professional requirements of their job, understand the basic characteristics, care needs, and requirements of individuals with disabilities, and can provide treatment, support, and rehabilitation services. These professionals are expected to possess qualities such as a love and respect for people, creativity, tolerance, and patience, and to be able to work in institutions that provide disabled care services.
