The Retired Sages Project (Emekli Bilgeler Projesi) Begins

Süleyman Demirel University is undertaking a significant project aimed at enhancing the social lives of retired individuals under the auspices of the Presidency’s “Veteran of the Century of Turkey Project.”

A Special Project for 32 Retirees in SDU’s 32nd Year

In celebration of SDU’s 32nd anniversary, this project for 32 retired individuals will be conducted in two stages from August 26 to October 31, 2024. The first stage will take place on SDU’s main campuses, and the second stage at Eğirdir Vocational School of Health Services.

Various Activities for Physical and Mental Health

Retirees participating in the project will have the opportunity to engage in numerous activities aimed at supporting their physical and mental well-being. These activities will include workshops and training on topics such as “emotional intelligence in retirement,” “recreational and marbling activities,” “music,” “yoga for older adults,” “sports and health in advanced age,” “basic first aid techniques,” “dementia prevention,” “geriatric diseases,” and “healthy nutrition.”,
